Direct Flights To Cyprus Support

I'm starting a thread to see who would like to see the likes of Ryanair or Aer Lingus add Cyprus as a destination.

If I had a holiday home there yes but seeing as I don't, i don't feel the need to.

I've spent 2 separate weeks in Cyprus and that's pretty much enough for me, i'm happy with my package holidays to Cyprus

A load or people saying they'd like flights? Can see why people aren't arsed giving any input.

Cyprus as a destination for Ryanair doesn't suit their short hop mentality, it's a 4.5 hour flight and would require longer turnaround time. Time is money.

I would think a 4-5 hour flight would more suit a full service carrier. I would certainly like to see a direct flight from Dublin.

Hopefully, I'm thinking, If enough people post and the thread gets really long, someone might notice. If there's no demand, then there's no flight.

It's obvious not somewhere that requires a direct service to it if one is not already set up. Most people who go to Cyprus go on package holidays!

I don't see the need. Maybe if you feel this way email them or write to them about it and see what response you get!

I for one would love to see direct flights to cyprus

We have been holidaying there for 15 years and love it.
We have to book our flight only's through tour operators and use a charter aircraft which works out ridiculously expensive
Plus there is only one flight that is not a night flight out of dublin per week!!!!

Also, not everyone travelling to cyprus are not on package holidays - the amount of irish owing holiday homes out there is huge
