Out of curiosity can AGS members/PSNI members shed any light as to what the average workload is for Detectives/Trainee Detectives at local level, on a busy urban beat? Where I am it seems to run from about 15 to 40 jobs on the go at any one time. Is this similar to your area?

For each one no wouldnt be that high as investigating officers but they get alot of jobs to on other peoples investigations such as exhibits, etc and assisting uniform with cases.
