This Square Enix game just popped up out of nowhere. I'd heard absolutely nothing about it. Playing it now and I have to say, it's pretty impressive. Looks absolutely fantastic. Can see myself being hooked on this for the next while.

Anyone else seen/heard anything about it? Seems to be getting great reviews too. - IGN

I didn't know what to make of it to start.. scribbling on the screen, it looked like a stylish hack 'n' slash with the stylus. Then Day 2 started, you get access to the mobile phone, and BOOM! - layers and layers of incredible depth and customisation.

Great style, nice music (if you like jpop!), and fun (deep!) gameplay. Great game.

My tip for the day - For the adventurous naughty ROM monkeys, you can use DSLazy to replace the angsty american voices with original Japanese voices (but keeping english subtitles).

it is a very weird game but I like it.

I tried it for the first few battles but found it pretty tough to play "properly", I could never give either character my full attention and so ended up stabbing with the stylus and pressing random directions with the d pad. Is there actually supposed to be some strategy to this?

Played a little bit of it, I like the style. Seems like a very strange game though! :D

I've been playing it for a few days on and off now too and really like it. It's quite simplistic but still hides a lot of depth what with the double screen battles, pins, equipment, fashion trends, dual attacks, food, ability to "level down" etc etc.

It's also quite original which is great as it can sometimes seem there's precious little innovation out there. It's really a game that could only ever work on the DS I guess.

Really liking the art style and music too. The only flaw is a little too much dialogue and (so far) very slightly annoying main character, but he's improving!
