Help - USB mouse stopped working on Vaio Laptop VGN-FZ21M

    Hi
    can anyone help, the mouse on my laptop has just started acting up, when i boot up it starts jumping all over the screen, at first it was for a few minutes but now it does it all the time and all I can do is unplug it and use the touchpad,:mad: I've tried using a different USB port to no avail, I have also tried a different mouse but the new mouse apparently has no available driver. I'm using Vista and the laptop is only 3 months old

    Is the mouse wireless by any chance, batteries? Have you tried restarting your machine?

    Hii, no its not wireless, it connects to a usb port, or well it used to :rolleyes:
