We got a lovely surprise after our mates wedding. When we got the thank you cards, with their obligatory photo on the front, the couple had included 2 lovely pictures of me and my oh that her uncle had taken in the church yard before the ceremony. It cost roughly 80c but was a lovely thought. On the day I know we are giving fans:-) It'll be hot, hopefully.

Nostalgic sweets. Spent all afternoon on that blooming site with my mouth watering.

I recently got engaged and started looking for something unique too. I came across this and thought it was a really lovely idea.

If you dont like animals theres also seeds for trees or plants that you can get packaged with your name and wedding date on an everyone can go home and plant them. I dunno if people would bother but what do you care if it was a nice idea!

My friend also just simply put small packets of love hearts on all the tables and they went down really well.

We got ours from the Marie Curie cancer foundation. They only cost £1 and its a really worthy cause.

I was at a wedding where the favours for ladies were mini baileys and for the men they were mini jack daniels.

When my friend's wedding ceremony was over, and they all walked down towards the church doors, the photographer went up on the gallery and took a picture of the whole group below with the bride and groom in front. When we got our thank-you cards, the photo was enclosed in it. I thought it was a brilliant idea, cos then you can see everyone who was there in the one picture :D

My friend got married on Valentine's day last year and they had these as their favours. It was really cute. I'm not sure they got them from this site, but they had their names on the sweets, it was cheap and cheerful and really original. Another wedding I was at had a little pink ribbon pin or blue ribbon (depending on the gender of the guest) with a little card saying 'A donation has been made on your behalf to the Irish Cancer Society' which was a lovely idea too.
