Didnt know where to post this so feel free to move it.

Our Drains in the back garden started overflowing 2 days ago and after my poor hubby tried to unblock it for two nights, we called out the experts only to find that the problem is 5 houses away and that even though there was overflowing sewage in every house up to ours. No one said anything and no one called anyone till us.

The Drain unblocking guy said that the problem is in badly put together drains in the last house on the road which was built after the rest was built. Its a rented house and so I called down to the lady who lives there looking for the management company name and number to ring them to see if I can get any money back and she said.

Ill ring her tomorrow to get the number off her so you can ring her !! I eventually gave her my number for the landlord to ring me.

I just feel so let down that people do nothing about the problem themselves thinking that someone will eventually do something and fork the bill.

    Just had to rant.
