You'll need a scope, the Silhouette doesn't have iron sights.

The licence time is anyone's guess. I waited 4 or 5 months for a 12 gauge and less than 2 weeks for a .22lr.

The sky is the limit my friend. Welcome to the wonderful world of shooting.

What's the .22lr for, rabbits, winged vermin on teh ground etc?

I bought a 452 .22wmr a few months back and so far I've spent over E700 on it.
The rifle was second hand and cost me E350, I bought a lovely Burris scope for E190 (which was a steal thanks to the dollar exchange rate and a convenient trip to the US :D ), E50 for a single piece scope mount, I paid E70 for a Harris Bipod (tall model with swivel), licence was E39 and about 200 bullets gone through at E19 for 50 (E76).

So it's not cheap, and I got that Burris scope at a great price and it's a lovely scope, over here scopes can range anything from E60 up. Your rounds will be considerably cheaper though and depending on what kind of shooting you are doing you might not need a bipod, but I'm in love with my setup :D
