    100-120 a month I'd say.

Probably more if you're just getting it for just one month.

Didn't know that - probably because I haven't had the need to get a quote in years. But good to know. Thanks.

AFAIK Quinn direct are the only people who will quote Learner Permit holders.

Axa were the the cheapest for me.

Well my bro is 20 on a provisional and his insurance with quinn was 1800 for the year on a 1.2 punto.

So your talking €150+ a month.

I'e never heard of people gettin insurance for a month. The brother transferred his insurance onto the sisters punto for 2 weeks for 150 i think. I'm fairly sure they no1 will give u insurance for 1 months. What u will have to do is take it out for a year and cancel it after a month. U should get ur 11 months back less a charge for cancelation. That'll defo work with Quinn.

Learner permits or provisional licences? I am on my first provisional and I am with Eagle Star. They do a great package.

Just the kind of business an insurance company would love.

    /sarcasm off.

    Why not a years insurance?

Slightly OT ..AFAIK Although It may say Provisonal on your licence now it is in fact a Learner permit. I'm open to correction on that.

If it is your mams car and she is already insured on it then your best option is to get added to her policy as a named driver.

Failing that you will need to get a policy in your own details on the car which will not come cheap and insurance companies do not offer insurance by the month either, not sure where you heard that one!

Actually the size of my engine might have had something to do with.

Course you can get insured for whatevr period you like.
But I know that quinn direct only insures the owner of the vechile.
You'll likely need to add yourself on your mothers policy.
