Ooh, I remember having dark desires for one of those (or a T16!) when I was younger... good luck in your search!

me as well loved the look of it in red. It conjured up all kinds of evil thoughts looking at it.

Just did a search on this and realised a friends dad had one. It made me want a 405 thinking it was just a supped up 405!

Now i know why he was so pi*sed off when somebody ran into him as he was taking a right hand turn pushing him into oncoming traffic writing it off!

Was in the presence of greatness and didn't know!

There used to be a Mi16 down here in dark green, looked very smart. Probably turned to dust many moons ago.

    Mike.

Best of luck with the search. Class car. Had a 309 GTI once and always wanted a 405 MI 16, just never found the right one.

England or the north would be your best bet.

Its a long shot but you could try getting in touch with Stephan Murphy (or one of the other brothers) in Westland.

I've got an M-reg Mi16 Le Mans with just over 100k on it, ive been toiling with the idea of selling it, but i can never seem to bring myself to. But if someones serious & will give it a good home then i may.

Its a top example, totally standard (appart from a set of 15" turbine alloys) and a joy to drive, handles like no other car. Pretty much full service history, sailed past its MOT again last week with just a new set of disks & pads.

I bought it from a mate 5 years ago who worked for a peugeot spares dealler, he bought it from a mate 3 years before that who worked at the same company & they were both obsessive about how they looked afer their cars - so its been well loved.

And the best thing about this one, the Le Mans was a limited (& loaded) 1000 car run of the Mi16 and this one is the 405th 405 Mi16 Le Mans.

Let me know more if you are interested & ill give you the full details
    Cheers
    Ant

Would definitely be interested. Where is the car? Any pics? And any price in mind? Thanks

    Hi,
Here's a pic of the Car (unfortunately thats not my house...)
    405noplate.jpg

I live close to Luton (near London) so appreciate that its a fair way away from you, but im close to the airport...?

The cars in top nic, all the major mechanics are great, its just had new break pads & disks for the MOT, the clutch is about 7k old & the gearbox was overhaulled at the same time.

The interior is great (its got the alcantara (leather/suede) seats, which are top)

    Cheers
