    HI
I was wondering is there anybody here did a degree in ecology? (or studied part of it.)
what you think of it? and jobwise?

I am an animal lover and is this course will suit me or is it involve abit more - like testing the animals or ......? (i am not kind of person who faint when I see blood etc..just incase!)

    I enjoy study plants.

I know I sound daft but I like to know everything before I choose my choice of a degree next year...I dont want to find out that do "animal testing" or anything like that later on the course. It is something I always disagree. If you know what I mean!

any info would be greatly appreiated.
    :)

Hey a friend of mine graduated from Ecology last year. I asked her about it just there and she says it's a tough course but very interesting, there aren't many job opportunities unless you want to go on and do a PhD, and there is a fair bit of dissection but no animal testing as such. She also says John O'Halloran from the department would be a good person to email if you have questions. Hope that helps.
