'Error loading operating system'

I'm running Vista 64-bit as my main OS. I decided to install TinyXP (a bare-bones version of XP) on a 7gb partition today. I formatted the partition as NTFS (does this sound ok, I thought afterwards maybe I should have chose FAT32) and installed TinyXP on it. The installation went fine. Upon re-booting I got the message 'Error loading operating system'.

After a little research on the web I heard booting from the Vista disc and repairing startup problems is a good idea so I tried that. It seemed to fix something and restarted, but I got the same message again.

The steps online mentioned that I'd have to install some dual-boot SW but Vista or XP has to be functioning to get that I assume? Any help would be appreciated.

Edit - this seems to be a XP only issue, also feel free to move this to the Windows section, I just noticed that section now.

You can get a virtual OS program. It will run whatever OS you want inside your original OS.
Eg. To run Xp inside Vista.

VMWare is a pretty neat program.
