Hey guys, I have a few pictures I want to insert into a college report I'm writing. I want to add text to these pictures, circle things (for example circle a lake) etc etc. If I was using windows, I would use the Paint application. Are there any free applications like Paint for Leopard? Or is there a way of doing it within Preview or Open Office?

    Thanks in advance!

Do you have Microsoft Office? I drag all my images/photos into Powerpoint (I normally change Page set-up to make the slide A4) then I can resize, add text etc and then copy and paste directly into Word.
    Hope this helps.

No, I only have Open Office, but I'll try it on their presentation software!! Thanks!

EDIT: I can do it directly in Open Office! Thanks!

An alternative for anyone looking to do something like this is a program called Skitch. Very handy little app which someone suggested here...
