anyone know the make of this dish?.

    just bought this 1.8 metre offset dish yesterday and need to know the make of it cause it has no lnb holder with it.

    was told its a mabo dish,but it looks a lot like a tecatel dish also.
    its only 6 months old and was given the number of the person that installed it,but he cannot remember as he installs a lot of dishs,but he told me on phone that he only installs mabo dishs,so if he installed it,well thens its a mabo. don,t know for sure.

    so i,m wondering where can i get a lnb holder for this dish,i have added some pictures maybe some of you guys here might know for sure the make of it and also would appreciate any info or links to where i might get the required lnb holder for this dish.

    would a universal lnb holder be ok?,

    i think this confirms its a mabo 1.85cm offset dish

    wonder will i have trouble getting the lnb holder for it m8 or would the lnb holder in the link i put up be as good as the original one?.

    Almost any holder will mostly work if you can mount it firmly.
    The really awkward ones are offset dishes with missing arms or dish that need a special feedhorn that is missing.

    hi watty what type of lnb would you put on the mabo 1.85cm offset dish?
    would you put a normal invacom lnb on it or would you put a invacom c-120 with a feedhorn?,which would you think would get the best out of the dish?,thanks.

    well i have a polarmount here from another dish,but i,m sure it could be connected on to the back of the mabo 1.85cm offset dish.

    do you have the required polarmount for this dish? if so how much?.

    That's a big dish - does one need planning permission for something like that? If not, whats the cut-off for needing/not needing permission to put up a dish?

    i haver sent pelisor 2 private messages already watty,and i would,nt exspect anyone to post there details on a public forum thread.just another reminder for pelisor to please send me a private message with his bank details as i want to lodge payment in to his account for him being so help full in getting me the lnb holder for my mabo 1.85cm dish.
