    Hi Everyone,
Someone told me that pimples on different parts of your face represent different problems. Pimples on your forehead mean that you eat too much whatever ?? and Pimples on your chin mean that you eat too much ??etc etc
    Any beauticians out there?

Well just so we can blow one food group's stigma with regards this out of the water:
Chocolate does not give you spots

Bet many of you are glad to hear that. ;)

    Not Your Ornery Onager

So, basically if you eat too much, you get pimples? Sounds fair!

No, if you eat too much you get fat.

Pimples are caused by a buildup of bacteria underneath blocked pores and have little to do with diet.

Sounds like bs....I have heard that pimples in certain plces can be linked to hormones. But I forget the details.

My beautician told me once that pimples around your chin can flare up around the time of the month, as apparently your chin is directly linked with your ovaries.... yeah, i find it hard to believe too...

Hormones and ovaries linked to pimples on your chin. Thats the kind of information I was looking for. My problem has only started within the past few months and I get those horrible really sore lumps under my skin. My diet is ok, probably don't drink enough water though. I'm probably a lot older than most of you here in the lounge. I reckon its related to the dreaded menopause. Think I might take myself off to see a good beautician or skin specialist.

yeah ive heard this before..on yer chin-hormonal related, cheeks-digestive system and then i read that little white heads on yer nose can mean that you have an intolerance to dairy..not sure about the first too but for the last one defo applies..i used to get them on my nose, and i used to be always really snotty ie used to have to blow my nose loads (excuse me,its so gross i apologise) when i woke up the morning..

So I cut out milk and problems went away...reintroduced milk lately again and dont have as much of a problem but i dont drink huge amounts of it anyway..still find if i eat loadsa cheese tho and drink lots of milk for whatever reason, i get snotty again..so little amounts are grand..it would be worth trying if you have the same problems..
