Ok, so this is a really big issue for me. I find it very had to get suitable and nice bra's in my size. I have started to order from Bravissimo in England but does anyone know of anywhere here other than BT and Debenhams that do plus size bra's? and when I mean plus size I mean bigger than an E cup!

I was going to say bravissimo myself. Im not that big (dd) but I love their tops, but as you can see you already know that. Sorry I couldnt be of more help, My Sis is in a similar boat and buys from Debenhams and bravissimo

same boat here! not sure what part of the country you're in, but in kinsale, co cork there's a fab shop that does all sizes. empreinte is a great brand for bigger boobs, and although the bras can be dear ( 90 to 110) they are well worth it - they give great support and shape, ive actually thrown away all my other bras as they were badly fitting. if cork is too far away for you, you can order them fron figleaves.com

just re-read your original post- you mentioned bt- do you know if they do large back sizes as well as cup sizes? i'd be talking 46.

Ive been scouting about myself on some sites, as Im looking for a specific sized and design swimsuit (with no luck so far) but came across www.simplyyoursuk.something...google simply yours uk and you should find it..apparently the show 'how to look good naked' use their bras etc..worth a look..good luck:)

I'm about a 40g, depending on bra style etc, ye know yerself gals...can't think of any brand names right now but there's a boutique down in wexford, in new ross that's really good and the two women that run it are great, they spend ages digging up as many as they can possibly find in my size in styles they think I'll like...

In dub, debenhams are good alright, ann summers sometimes, Marks n Sparks...

I have found the odd decent one in dunnes on occassion...eg my fave bra is a 36e kinda half-three quarters cup...best a luck!

btb, how do you guys find ordering stuff off the net, always been afraid of it tbh, in case it's totally off...

i got stuff from the home shopping catalogues before, you know simply be and oxendales. tbh the fit wasnt great but their returns procedure is simple. i guess its a safe enough bet if you know your size in a particluar brand though....

What about Bramora on Earlsfort Terrace?

They do up to a 46G according to their website.

I haven't used them in the last year or so but have gotten some great (larger size) bargains from www.brastop.com you may not get the briefs to go with the bra but if you know your size in certain brands it's great. I vary between brands and normally bought a couple of sizes of the same style from brastop and sent back what didn't fit with no problems.

Personally I'm a huge fan of Bella Lusso (http://www.bellalusso.com) as not only are they an Irish company but they have the most gorgeous styles for bigger sized bosoms.

They also do fitting parties and stuff or else will send you out a really easy to follow tape measure with the brochure.

My housemate tried figleaves, and was well impressed. Fast service, good fit, etc. The layout of the site is really easy to navigate, too. I'm a 36F and usually get mine in Arnotts or Clerys. Clearys in particular is great, especially around sale time if you don't mind a bit of a root around, which I don't. I do like a bargain. :)

The brands I've found the best are Freya, Fantasie (which make Freya, I think) and Fayreform, although the latter are pretty expensive. About the 70 quid mark I think, although I've gotten them in the sale for about 20-25 quid. Worth a look.

Didn't Jordan launch a range for big sizes? Some of it might not be ultra-tacky, I'd say it'll make it's way over here sometime.

Yeah, think she launched it for Asda originally but you can get some of them from Littlewoods Ireland. There's a fairly small selection, and to the best of my recollection, they're all padded. Not for me!

There's a great shop in the Royal Hibernian Way in Dublin, just off Grafton Street called Peaches and Cream which do bigger sizes and the two girls in there could not be nicer!

I got the best bra ever in there. It cost me 60 euro but it's so worth it as I wear it nearly every day.

Ditto, why do they think large breasted women need padding?

One of life's mysteries! I just double checked, and yep, all her bras in the catalogue I have here are padded, as are many others too. Including Wonderbra, up to an F cup. I can only imagine what I'd look like with a padded bra and my boobs pushed up to my chin. Scary.

I personally like la senza they have a very good range of colours and styles and go up to big sizes. Although alot of there bra's have got padding they dont have padding in the end of the cup. i personally find there service very good and they even measure you. there bra's are strong enough to hold the weight. Im a 36E and i can always find a bra in there. although they are rather expensive compared to penny's were people wit smaller busts can get them for €6. There prices are around €20-€30 i think. but sometimes when they have a sale you can get two for €30. There sizes are kind of small though.

Recently in my search for bigger bra's i decided to try tesco and i must admit for a bra that cost €12 it fits perfectly and is very comfortable. They have a nice range and great prices.
