Can't tell you mine, you'll only steal it. :p

Oh okay - We will have an instrumental of "in a little while" played for my aisle walk, then our first dance will be that song again, only this time the full version with lyrics etc. The words of the song are just fabulous and it's one of the ones my fiance plays

Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton, My First, My Last, My Everything by Barry White or how about A Moment Like This by Leona Lewis? Or have a look here for suggestions. Congratulations by the way! :D

We're having "Better When We're Together" Jack Johnson, it's always been our song :-)

Just stay away from Van Morrisson! I went to 7 weddings last year (I know!), and 4 of them had Have I told you Lately as their first song. Blerg!

We're having In My Life by the Beatles. Both Beatles nuts, and it's a beautiful song with appropriate lyrics.

And Spidey! How could you say Leona Lewis? I know you'll just say "A lot of people request it." but by even typing it you're invoking satan, or didn't you know that? Damn, I've typed it now!

*disappears in a puff of sulphur*

Isn't that a breakup song though?

i'm not quite sure the lyrics are a bit confusing , but the tune is lovely and sounds very dramatic and romantic

It's a beautiful song alright, I quite like Kenny Rogers I have to say.

*#never count your money, while you're sitting at the table#*
That'll be in my head for the day now. :)

    Intresting post..

I'm actually DJ'ing for a wedding on Thur, it's being years since I've done one.

The couple are good friends so they know what I play and so.

Though I have being pondering on what to start with, I have a couple in mind such as The Cure - Closer to me (remix) or Stevie Wonder - Signed, Sealed, Delivered.

Looking forward to it now, I've asked the groom on any choice off music he would like to hear and the response was Funk, Rock and stuff from the Hacienda era, Can't wait to see everyone in Suits jamming to the Happy Mondays, a far cry from those paisly shirts we wore in the early 90's.

    :D

Myself and my future hubby have been discussing this. The Cure Close to Me has been mentioned as have the Moldy Peaches, you know that song from Juno? Just something fun and lovey dovey!

I've been trying to get herself to go with the second one there but she's having none of it.

We came up with a fair few ideas, one I loved was D:ream "Things can one get better" no idea what it'll be in the end.

Both football fans and wanted something a bit different so we had the band learn the theme tune from match of the day ... after all in our eyes we were the mach of the day .

LOL nice one! I have the grandstand music and have been dying to play it! Along with question of sport. Maybe I should offer it to die hard footy couples getting married!

to be honest i wouldnt have a laugh at it and go with one of the previous video choices, you know some things are special and should be kept that way - you can have a laugh the rest of the day

pfft.. The above are perfect for some people and not others. Why judge?!

You'd probably not like my friend's desire if he ever marries. He wants his bride to walk down the isle to Aphex Twin, Come to Daddy. I think it's classic (and very much him).
