    Hi All,

Finding it hard to get details on where I can get my digital images printed on really hugh quality paper and with good printing process.

Don't want to use Bonusprint or similar - are there any specialist printers that do this sort of thing??

GMS come highly recommended by those in the know.

    Hiya,

I've been tormented by this too....I like a nice print job, but there's a fine line between quailty and pice (or rather value for money!) ..

I've used www.loxleycolour.com and there quality is superb, but, beware, their ROES software lists the prices in Euro, when in fact it's Pounds Sterling...but the sopftware is easy to use and has a staggering array of sizes as standard, also, they are expensive...

The option I go with now for both competition photos and client shots is www.photobox.ie .. cheap and very top quality...

I'm sure everyone will have opinions on this,

    all the best,

    Philip

I've tried both the Pro sites above but cannot figure out how to use the JAVA ordering system!

It's installed OK and finds every image on my computer but I've no idea how to order/edit images after that and cannot figure it out.

    Any other places??

    depends on what you want

I have done printing for some boards members and they all have been happy

I use an epson 7800 and generally use Fuji Pearl paper (which is very good and a bit pricey but looks great)

I am not touting for business but if you need some help let me know

I do generally give a good discount to boards members too

Not really related perhaps as I know OP is looking for THE best.

I generally just use photobox but I am gonna get some prints done up quite large.

Is there a big difference between photobox and the likes of GMS when doing say 10x15 prints?

Also do GMS let the average joe like me use their services for only occasional prints does anyone know? Or it it only really for pros.

GMS are a pro lab, wouldn't make sense to use them unless your shooting commercially or it's for an exhibition - they're all about quality, you pay accordingly.

stephen, what rip are you using on the 7800?
Use an un-ripped 7600 at work, have been badgering the boss to invest in a harlequin or similar.

i have it un-ripped at the mo, but looking at the imageprint rip

i am looking at wether it would be better to spend the money on the 7880 as the driver does true 16 bit printing
