What laptop to buy in N.I.?

    My dad wants a laptop... he will be using it for email/web surfing/putting photos on.... he wants an internal webcam/speakers... he will use it for SKYPE.. and really just basic stuff (wants it wireless enabled)... he'd like a 'nice/decent' one for a good price... He has some sterling he wants to get rid of (I told him I could spend it for him!:D) .... so can anyone recommend a laptop to him and where to buy up North?..

    Also, should we get XP on it instead of Vista?..
