Lucky or unlucky?

I want to know if people think they are unlucky or lucky?

I feel lucky but then whatever luck I get just goes to crap. My car got broken into and it seemed to be easy enough to fix and it's turned into a massive operation. I tried to make this post and posted a big rant about how unlucky I am and my computer crashed, luckily when it came back on my post came too, unluckily it wouldn't post for some reason.

So, are you lucky or unlucky or do you even believe in luck?

The unlucky are nothing more than a frame of reference for the lucky. You are unlucky, so I may know that I am. Unfortunately the lucky never realizes they are lucky until it's too late. Take yourself for instance; yesterday you were better off than you are off today but it took today for you to realize it. But today has arrived and it's too late. You see? People are never happy with what they have. They want what they had, or what others have. The grass is always greener on the other side.

    Unlucky

well, my 5 week old clutch snapped in my car today in a car park of a hotel and the garage man cant pick it up until monday but my driving test is tomorrow

    Lucky

The car broken down in a car park and not on the road. The driving test centre phoned to cancel my test about an hour afterwards

The hotel said they wont tow the car as it is broken down

so probably a bit of both reallu

I'd say lucky. Things generally work out for me even if i'm not too worried about it. Even when things go pear shaped, something bounces back to fix it.

I'm not getting on a preachy high-horse here, but I do think as long as nothing really horrific has happened to you then you're lucky. Of course I know all problems are relative but at the same time, once you haven't experienced a bereavement or been abused or been sent to prison for a crime you didn't commit or been born into a horror zone of a country etc, then you can kinda make your own luck. I look back on my life and I find a lot to complain about, but in the grand scheme of things it really adds up to nothing much and I'm glad to say I haven't gone through any of the above.
It's about attitude too. I used to be very negative and thought I was one of the unluckiest people in the world - and sure, there are people who appear to have better lives than I have, but appearances can be deceiving, and I know there are aspects to my life that other people would envy, while the people whom I think are super lucky might be having a sh1t time in their own heads.

In a nutshell: it's all about perspective really...

Born under a lucky star I think (even being atheist). Always managed to come out of any problem unscathed, so far.

Probably just a frame of mind. Whatever bad happens I know it'll get better soon, and it does.

Thinking about it, I'm pretty lucky. This is more evidence to support my theory that God wants me to fight crime as I apparently can't die. :pac:

Lucky, everything seems to fall into place for me. Even when it something goes terribly wrong one day, I find something happens the day or so after that makes up for it.
