As stolen from the pages of The Register:
A survey by of 576 office workers in central London found that women are far more likely to give away their computer passwords to total strangers than their male counterparts, with 45 per cent of women versus ten per cent of men prepared to give away their login credentials to strangers masquerading as market researchers.

    More here.......

tut, tut, tut, as an IT professional i have to say i'm shocked and appalled.

    Seriously.

Who in their right mind would let women operate anything more complicated than an iron, or a rasher sammige making thingy?

These studies are just plain stupid. You don't know if they actually gave the right password to the researcher (unless they break into their workplace and use their computer). If someone offered me chocolate for my password then I'd just give them some random word and take the chocolate.

Usually I'd say that a survey needs at least 1,000 people, but nah, I'm willing to go with this one anyway:)
