    Hey guys,

I work for this charity and most of my collagues are women, they're all running the women's mini marathon on June 2nd, and I'm just wondering is it acceptable to dress up as a women (drag!) and complete the marathon, or will they dissapprove and tell me to f off!?

It's for a good cause and I want to join in to help raise funds.

    What are your thoughts?

    - Concerened chap...

Don't piss those carebears off, if they get in a group and hold hands they can generate a lazer pulse!

Didn't they stop men from racing last year?

Plenty of men run (or walk) the mini-marathon. They bring a bit of craic to the event! I'm sure the organisers don't mind once there's money going to charity.

All i'm gonna say is if you do run it then you'd better win it.

One of ours should beat one of theirs every time.

    It's simple fcuking physics!

I can't see why you wouldn't be allowed. Imagine if you said a men only marathon, oh the carnage. Burning bra bonfires.

It's for a good cause and anyone who has a problem is a tit. Swe swe.

They let that O'Sullivan fella run in womens marathons a load of times, so I don't see why there'd be any problems

If the drag is really convincing then there'll be no bother either way.

Isn't there a "Mick Dundee" test before the start?

I know a guy who ran in it last year in drag.

Also - that's a pretty feminine name you have there, are you sure you're a man?

Well I've signed up now, just added an 'a' to the end of my forename to make it more believable. What have I gotten myself in for?

One question however, about getting people to sponsor you, what happens, do they send you out a package or something with papers etc???

I've done the marathon twice for charity and I'm a guy, you just gotta make a bit of effort with the drag thing, dress and a wig and the likes. It's a bit of fun and no one objected, there were loads of guys doing it.

I can't remember about the sponsoring bit, I know you gotta go pick up your number at the rds before the event but can't remember about actual sponsorship cards, sorry I can't be more help to you on that bit
