Small claim

Ok, I'm sort of looking for legal advice, if I'm not allowed do that please lock this. I did read the charter but didn't see anything.

I live in a student village in Limerick and the other night my car was broken into. Nothing was taken but the ignition block is broken. I now have to pay for it to be towed and repaired which means my deposit on a flat for next year is gone and I'm up sh!t creek. I choose to live in this village as they said they have 24 hour security, with patrols, and CCTV. I found out yesterday they only have security between 9 & 5 (in other words, this is reception) and 11pm & 6am. The CCTV also only records 4 spaces of a 20 space car park outside each building.

I feel completely misled with regards to their security information. It still says on their website that they have 24 hour security which they don't. As they post midleading information would I have any luck taking the case to the small claims court for the cost of the repairs or is it worth it at all? I only ask because I have had a lot of trouble here in the past, and I have no money to pay for the repairs as it is. Normally I would let it go. I was also dealt with completely unprofessionally. When I informed management of the break in they told me to contact the Guards and washed their hands of me. Didn't take my name, address, car type and didn't put the incident into an incident book.
