AVI to DVD... how do you do it ?

I've been mucking about with putting AVI files onto DVD. now, while my DVD players plays them fine , they have to be burned as a data dvd and the file selected from a file list on screen.

What I would like to do is have the list of AVI files (preferrably with an icon of some sort and a title) appear on a graphical menu like the scene selection menu on a commercial DVD - this is for a friends anniversary videos by the way which I have in AVI format.

Can anyone recommend software for doing this quickly and easily ? a customisable background etc would be nice too :)

ConvertXtoDVD will do what you are asking but as a DVD compliant disc , not as a data disc of .avi files . It's probably a better option in this case anyway , as not all DVD players can read .avi files .

Hence the reason I reccomended ConvertX ;) Fyi none of my dvd players bar my 360 have avi compatability so I would guess not many home dvd players would be either

Was just rubberstamping your answer , yoyo :) . It's my preferred app too !

Thought it wise to clarify to the OP that it wouldnt constitute a backup of the .avi files however .
