Hen night hell!!!

My two "loving" sisters are organising my hen in may.... And to be perfectly honest I am absolutely dreading it! Seems to be grease themed as from doing a bit of snooping around, we are getting pink wigs....

They also told me that I have to buy a new pair of black shoes, and have my "outfit" already bought... The problem with that is that one of my sisters is a 10-12, and my other one is a 16-18, im a 12-14, so depending on who buys what, it'll be either swimming on me or way too small!!

Some of the hen stuff is just a bit of fun, but i have noticed a trend to completely humiliate the future bride..

    Am I just being paranoid??

As the bride you're absolutely allowed put your foot down and say NO to a hen night you don't want, so if you're dreading it that much you should do just that and then insist on going for a nice dinner and drinks or whatever it is you fancy. I've organised enough hens/ been to enough to know it's the brides night not the organisers, don't let yourself be humiliated!

Had mine this weekend just gone by. I warned them no novelty gear but yet it was produced. Then again they picked mine well and dressed me as a leopard! They waited until we were all well on the sauce before producing anything.

If it's really bothering you tell them and tell them you know their theme as well and try to get them to tone it down.

If you're away you won't really mind too much because no one you know will see you.

When it comes to it just go with the flow because in the end if you start arguing with them on the actual night you're going to ruin it on yourself, it's better to wear some embarrassing clobber than to fall out with your sisters IMO.

Anyway I'm a bit scattered, sorry for the all over the place answer, my head still isn't well! :)

You say Loving sisters in a little bit of a sarcastic way. Surely you can trust your sisters. Do they know your size in dresses? thats the first thing id ask them. You will have to have some input into this as you seem to be a little paronoid. Im sure you'll have a great time, just relax and be glad that they are organising things.
