Have you got the car long?

The lights take a long time to go off on their own, could be a few minutes.

Check if they go off when you lock the car, or when you start it(doors closed obviously) if they do they are working fine.

No problem, its the same as my passat, was wondering what the hell was going on when I got it first myself
