    I realise this subject has been dealt with many times but I would appreciate opinions on what I am planning to build soon.
    Details as follows;
    Existing cottage has Concrete walls (large stones in soft concrete).
    Plan to;
    FLOOR
    150mm concrete screed
    on plastic sheet
    On 50mm Kingspan
    On 1200 visqueen DPM or paint on DPM
    on existing concrte floor with no DPM.

    WALLS
    100 x 44m timber studs @ 400mm centres
    100mm rockwool between studs
    Vapour control membrane
    Plasterboard (not sure if should use foil backed)
    Skim finish.
    Only a few electrical outlets, so will tape to VCL.
    Radiator pipes in stud partition and will penetrate VCL. These will also be sealed.

    select search over on RHS and select advanced search from the drop down

    then put in the words u want, is not AFAIK like google where u can search for dry+lining
    then on rhs select the user names u might think might have made a useful post such as sinnerboy, mellor etc and go to bottom and click search

    see attached image
