Need to book a taxi for someone who has a 5:50 flight this evening. Leaving from Amiens St, what time would they need a taxi for? Hand luggage only and I'm assuming they're already checked in online.

Normally I work in Town and would offer but to-day I amnt.
You shouldnt have a problem flagging 1 down.I would leave 45-mins -1 hr just for safety.Though the driver could go all the way up Malahide road and Swing left at the Darndale Hilton and to the airport that way.Taxi lanes all the way.

20 odd minutes if you use the port tunnel, the only traffic you may encounter is the Turnapin interchange (m1/m50)

40 odd minutes without, bus lane out either the Malahide or Swords Rd/Dorset St make the journey easy enough.

Port Tunnel for peace of mind to be honest.

4.30 for the Port Tunnel option.
4.10 for the bus lane option.

    Presuming checked in already.

They are like bus lanes except can change at the spur of the moment depending on wishes of the taxi driver :D

The bus lane on the N32 is open to all vehicles at the moment! ;)

Damn the traffic planners to hell, no wonder I'm late getting my breakfast roll at the airport now, having to fight my way through traffic like some ordinary motorist....
