Emptying NTL/UPC PVR Box

    Hi all

My UPC/NTL PVR box keeps on recording time slots that are no longer on the personal recording list.

Am kinda hoping that the recent update might have solved the problem - so, started to delete the many (many!) programs it recorded. However, they seem to have to be done one by one (and it's not the fastest!).

Is there any way I can clear down everything on it in one quick go? I already tried the restore to factory settings but the recordings are all still there.

    Any advice appreciated.

    thanks

I had this problem before as well. There are 2 things you need to do:
    (A) As regards clearing down the recorded content, there's no batch delete option, you'll have to do it one-by-one.
    (B) As regards stopping the recurring recording, a new entry for that recording will appear each week should appear in your My TV Agenda (now called My TV Planner). Highlight the offending item, and instead of pressing delete (which only deletes the next instance of the recording), press stop (this will delete the recurring recording going forward.)

I have this problem for several months and performed point B below several times using the "stop" button rather than the "blue" button but the recording is there again the following week. I don't want to do a factory reset as I have recordings I want to keep

    Hi

I had not read the exact detail of the previous posting. When you go to repeat recordings you need to hit the Stop button twice. Hitting Stop then hitting Ok will only delete the next one. This appears to work fine.
