    Hi Folks,
Myself and my wife are planning to head away somewhere around Europe for an extra long weekend e.g. 4 or 5 days at the end of May or begining of June.

We are both in our early 30's and ideally we're looking for somewhere which is nice and warm, nice and chilled, and has plenty to see and do e.g. good places to eat & drink in at night, and has plenty of things to see during the day. - I know I'm not asking alot.... :)

In Europe we've already been to Rome, Venice, Madrid, Barc, and not really looking for a beach holiday.

Would anyone have any suggestions of a place to go?

    Hi,

I'm just back from Krakow last night, we stayed from Thursday til Monday and would highly recommed it. Very chilled out city easy to get around and the weather is starting to heat up nicely (we had 2 days pushing 20 degrees). I went with a bunch of lads (not a stag I hasten to add) but 3 of us are definately going back with the wives/girlfriends. The food is good and not overpriced. In 4/5 days you have the options of visiting Auschwitz, the Salt mines, various city tours and just generally strolling around (all of which we did). The central square is fantastic for people watching and hanging about. We all found it to be very a very relaxed and civilised city. We did all the booking ourselves and cost aprox €270 for flights and accommodation.
