Never noticed myself, but then i'm not one to sit through credits after a movie, especially if the movie ain't very good! ie The Last Stand! :)

    What did the Prof say?

Yeah... It's the guy with the healthy body but vegetative mind that was mentioned earlier in the film.

The professor transfered his consciousness into him.

Moira McTaggart was the teacher from Rushmore too...

I didnt sit and watch the credits , They were on , We were just sorting thru stuff in the New house :) , when we hear him speak , turned around and saw a scene I never heard anyone talking about.

    He said "Hello"

Saw it in the cinema - had heard on a number of comic sites about it - wasn't worth staying to the end but then the whole film was a pile of rubbish.

on;y saw it because housemate insisted we stayed and boo every credit of the film.

big meh from me, crap film made crapper by essentially making null one of its big shockers.

Didn't they do the same thing at the end of that other action classic "He-man and the Masters of the Universe".

After seemingly being beaten by muscle-bound Dolph Lundgren at the end of the movie Frank "Skeletor"Langella pops up out of the water after the closing credits and promises "to be back!"

    He never was tho! :(

OK this is getting out of hand. I was merely asking cause I did not know how he could not be dead, Considering the massive case of death that was inflicted upon him . Which was answered for me.
I never said it was a good film( its Ok no where near as good as the First 2) best thing in it is the Music

so leave it at the question has been answered

AND WHY WHY WHY WHY would anyone watch the end Credits of HE-MAN
I was only able watch the open credits of that and I had enough. And it was by accident I even saw the end credits of X-men 3

yeah, I knew there was going to be something revealed at the end of the credits when I went to see this movie in the cinema. I still didn't stay to see it though as the movie was pants.

    interesting. I thought that
the patient story line was a lift from the comics, the patient being the professors twin?

Always thought the ending was just
a cheap excuse to get Professor X back
when they inevitably make a sequel (despite their claims this was the last one). If they ever do make another one though they'll have a lot to make up for after this massive anti-climax. Probably the most dissapointing blockbuster I can imagine. I was waiting for it since the brilliant cliffhanger at the end of part two and then they went and put out the Last Stand. Truly awful film.

in that storyline his twin was female and he killed her while still in the womb

I think the reason they tacked it on at the end was as mentioned was
to bring him back if they did make another film
and to keep the fan boys happy by including more of
Moira McTaggart and showing how strong prof X's super mind powers really are
Loads of films have things like that at the end - all three of the Pirates of the caribbean did, at least one of the harry potter films, the recent Cloverfield and another comic related film Daredevil to name a few. Its for all the nerds who read about the films online so they can feel a little smug when everyone else gets up and leaves.

Stayed and saw the prof X thing, meh.
But not as annoying as the stinking Cloverfield one! Lets make a sequel, yipee!
    Rubbish movie rubbish.
The end of the credits for Kingpin is the best, and the end of the credits for Austin Powers 2 was funny aswell.

Least a wee bit of entertainment involved!

Could never understand why Singer left before completing the trilogy, I mean Superman Returns wasn't even that good, If Singer had directed I'm sure he wouldn't have made the same mistakes.

because superman is DC and the X-Men are Marvel and FOX told Singer they didn't want him doing superman as they felt it was a conflict of interest [DC comics is owned by Time Warner]. Singer really wanted the chance to do Superman and felt if he didn't do it when he did it would be back in the development hell it had been stuck in for ages so he opted to do Superman and FOX replaced him on X-men.

I'm a comic book fan but by no means a fanboy, and I have to say the last stand was awful. The savaging the Dark Phoenix story got was dreadful. Whereas the changes made in the first two films where to adapt the X-men to film, I can only assume the changes made in the third one were made by some executive (as much Wolverine as possible! Wolverine does it all!!)

I saw the Prof X thing because I was forewarned.
