Because I spent most of today cooped up over a laptop with a headache and a wish to be somewhere else, I indulged myself by taking more photographs of the ornaments I have lying around the place. This is a Newbridge Silver lighthouse Christmas decoration. It's one of three lighthouses I own - the other two are cheap pottering things.
The photograph was shot more or less in the dark on a 29 second exposure at f20 (I think). I fired the flash four times from different angles to remove the shadows and I cropped out the corner of the curtains.
Apart from the hard line which I think I might have figured out how to avoid the next time I try this, I quite like the processing.0
