Phew, what a tough course! I must admit it was the toughest 10 mile race I've ever done :o But I also got a PB so happy days :)

It was my first real visit to the Burren and the scenery was impressive. We also managed to find poor Ted and Dougal's house after the race...a highlight in itself!

So did anyone here do the race?

Ran this one today also, nearly killed me:).
Definitely the hardest of the Munster Classic 10 mile series.

I didn't run, I was doing the road relays in Raheny, but from what I hear it sounded great. And fair play to Power, out on his own and still put in a class time.

Thank God the rain held off. Grand day for it in the end.

Perfect organisation but at the end there was the usual chaos around the tea/coffee area.

totally agree, everyone was parched for a cuppa and there was a scald risk trying to get outside with yer cuppa and a chocolate bun!

There was some confusion about where to get the long sleeve t-shirts for those who completed all 4 races of the series...a friend of mine missed out because he never knew they were handed out at the prize giving...they should have maybe given them out earlier because some people had to hit the road if they traveled long distances etc.
