Pearse Station Quick Fix..

Couple of things puzzle me about this station...

    Exits
There is one extrance/exit out of northbound platform. At morning rush hour this is a struggle for anyone trying to get onto the platform against the rush of cattle off the train just arrived.

Then I see there are actually a couple of more access points to the platform which are used as a staff car park. Could these not be opened to the public..? Put in a decent cycle park instead of the car park that handles more than 5 bikes..?

Ok you'd need more staff for the new exits but that's hardly a project that's going to cost big bucks? The benefits, people who wished could cycle from the station to Stephens green, Baggot street, IFSC... Sometimes we seem so focused on the big projects we miss some of the quick hits... am sure there's lots of them out there..

Aren't they building a new exit at the moment? I think thats why the spar has been closed the last while.
