Good referencing material

Hey folks,

Have college exams coming up pretty soon and just trying to revise. The course notes that we have are pretty crap and not very detailed. Do any of you know of any good material that could help me to revise some of the below areas better?. Ideally something along the lines of an idiots or dummies guide!.

Basically here are some of the subject areas..

Fresnel Zone calculations, Capacitance and Inductance (Faraday and Lenz). Signals and Waves, Digital Logic, Banpass Filters, Flip Flops, Counters. Sketching amplitude and phase spectra, harmonics etc.

Its an IT course I am doing and while the notes give you the correct formulas, I am having some trouble interpreting them. Just looking for some material that will help me to understand it better, though not too sure on whether or not I should be looking for electronics, maths or physics books!.

The best referencing material would be a introduction book on each of the topics. But given that exam time is close, you probably don't have time to be reading through books on each subject. There's a collection of books called Schaum's Outlines that are good for quick revision, with loads of sample problems. You can get one on almost any topic - they're usually in or around €15 each.

If it's concepts you want to get the only fast way of doing that is grinds really - grasping the concepts involved is generally the part of study that takes the longest...
