im back!!!!!!!!!!!!! but only on here, not the main forums, been banned from there permanantly!

anyway, still injured and have been since the eddie rockets game at christmas. have been going to physio, but i dont know how long i will be out, prob will be a month before im properly able to play, but it could be alot more. hopefully i will play some part in this season. dan and art are both struggling with injuries, but i will let them confirm if they are available to play or not. we will be watching the game anyway.

I wont be able to play today either, and my future participation is in doubt as well. I recently got a shift position in work, and after seeing the hours i'll be on, i'll be lucky to make it to 2 games a month. So i might have to give it a miss all together for the time being. I'll let you know if anything changes.

3-1 defeat. was level with 6 minutes to go and we missed a great chance to go up 2-1. they scored seconds later.

we acually led 1-0 for a bit, dave scoring from a corner. assist jules.

however, a draw was the most we deserved, Karl had a superb first half and i counted 4 great saves. we gave away 3 bad goals, that johnnie lad must have 5 or 6 goals against us now at this stage...

Yeh, on reflection a draw was what we deserved, though the second goal was a killer with us hitting their crossbar and Art's header almost going in amongst a goal mouth scramble. They hoof it clear and it luckily goes straight to an unmarked man with us being caught on our heels, next thing your man Johnny has finished with a clinical finish.

That said, Carl did make some super saves and they definitely had the better chances, though we were well in this game and got to grips with them for much of it and strung some nice passages of play together. They rarely troubled us out wide but between the 2 in the middle and Johnny up front, they had quality down the middle.

The last game we played them was 2-1 and this was 3-1, but I felt last time they totally dominated the game, so I thought we gave them a good game tonight and were just a touch away from an opening a few times and our good spirit had us in it till the end.

Really disappointed to lose that. We have to get one over on these guys at some stage. A win next week has to be the minimum requirement if we want to challenge for the league. The goals were just sloppy from our point of view and I thought a draw was what we deserved. Glad to be back on the pitch as well. Knee is a little tender after that so might miss out on any training this weekend to make sure I'm ok for next Tuesday. ****, so pissed off we lost that. Sick of losing to these at this stage! Also think the standard in this league will be far better than last season so we'll have to be on top form to challenge.

No point taking it personally that "we owe them one" or whatever, there's 15 other games we have to concentrate on and I'd say SS Rovers will be involved in the final mix-up. We didn't do enough to win it tonight, that's the truth. If not for some superb goalkeeping, we'd have been long finished off by the time we hit the crossbar. You can see that the side still hasn't clicked yet, but that'll come.

I'm away next week so make sure yiz get the first win under yizzer belts
