IBB Throttling Flickr ?

...or is it something wrong with the routing of flickr traffic to IBB's network ?

Anyone else on IBB have problems with slowness loading in even thumbnails from Flickr ?

I'm having terrible trouble, pages load fine but the pictures themselves, out of a whole page full, maybe 5 load in and the rest take ages to load.

To test it was just IBB at fault and not Flickr itself, or the speed of my connection on IBB - I made the Relakks VPN active and low and behold, the pictures all load in almost instant, no problems at all.

I'm thinking it's either some rediculously stupid throttling of Flickr traffic (Why?) by IBB or that the routing of flickr traffic on IBB is messed up.

Just wondering if anyone else is having similar problems on IBB or if any similar problems are being experienced on other Irish ISPs ?

Both Eircom and Magnet connections in work were fine today though and I also created VPN's to work from home tonight, to both the Magnet and Eircom connections - Flickr also loads in perfectly fine from home through both those work VPNs.

Well it's all back to normal now with IBB and Flickr for what it's worth.
