Firstly the whole storyline is ridiculous and secondly I can't believe Vicky was willing to go through with the storyline. It's pretty disgraceful in my opinion and in a way spits in the face of Eddie Guerrero.

harsh words, nothing wrong with the angle in my opinion, if it was edge and maria or edge and kelly kelly i don't think anyone here would be complaining :rolleyes:

MNG it involves nothing more than them cuddling, kissing, getting massages together etc.

edge is a star heel and this program makes people hate him more so job done

I've never been sure how to view Vickie on tv. Eddie always made sure that he never kissed Chyna because he didn't think it was right but I didn't really understand that completely. It's just acting. I have no problem with whatever Vickie does when I think about it, but it does make you dislike her during the show, which is a good thing

I mean, are people annoyed because it's a widow moving on with her life?

It's not something that makes me want to watch Smackdown but I get the whole idea around it.

It's just a slightly more subtle angle than the "Eddie is in hell stuff" designed to push peoples buttons through remembering Eddie. 2 years after his death, he's still getting heels over.

people should rememberthat it was originally supposed to be Edge and GM Teddy Longs assistant/flame Krystal before she followed Bobby Lashley out the WWE's door. I dont think people would like dislike that so much if im honest. Personally i dont like anything Vickie does on TV not cos she is Eddies widow or anything but i just find her annoying and not a great actress however this like almost everything the WWE has done with Eddies familia in recent years be it Vickie, Chavo or Rey hasnt been done right as far as im concerned

Fair enough if she wants to move on from Eddie's death. I'm all for that. But what I don't agree with is that she's kissing Edge from week to week on a show that her dead husband was one of the most beloved performers.

Whilst I think its poor tv (as in not entertaining) and it is a little cheap given Eddie's memory, from what I remember, when Eddie died Vickie and her girls weren't in great financial shape (didn't t have a forclosure on thier home?) so I think she's just trying to put bread on her table, and make sure her children are comfortable, and for that, you can't have any complaints. I'm sure she's not overly chuffed to be doing it, but like I said, bills have to be paid.

ok the reasons she is doing it is ok then, but the angle is wrong, she is headwreckin and drags down his image imo! it is vomit enducing!

Actually ... I think people are being ridiculous. She's hardly Courtney Love selling off Nirvana's back catalog.

I've found the Edge and Vicky love affair to be mostly entertaining. It hasn't crossed any lines. So what, they kiss, it's acting. But mostly it comes across as something quite sweet (apart from her abusing her power of course).

Tarnishing Eddie's image?
That's a completely unfair. Eddie Guerrerro was a perfect person? We all know about his famous personal "demons", this lady had to put up with a lot of crap during her life.

Judge the angle on its own terms, and if you don't like it fair enough.

To be honest I think those two twits that are Edges Buddies as Cole likes to call them have dragged him down big time, neither have ring presence, charisma and seem to be their to purely take choke slams, I mean surely someone as great as Edge if they are going to be given a stable should have a proper tag team with him? Surely they could have brought over Cade an Murdoch to the blue brand?

The problem is it's not just a story line. She is absolutely ****ing terrible at everything she's meant to be doing. Horrible voice, horrible face etc. If she wasn't Eddie's wife she'd barely get a job in Tescos. She has no place with Edge let alone on T.V. She'd probably be the only person who'd make a worse color commentator than Coach

True - I have a feeling Edge will get rid of her after Backlash though(after losing to Taker again) and certain events will lead up to Teddy becoming general manager again.

The danger is that when he dumps he will get a huge face pop which Vince does not want as they desperately want him and Orton to be main heels on their respective shows. Someone suggested and I hope to god that they won’t do it but when he dumps her just to make sure he does not get face pops he may diss Eddie to anger the fans. I hope they don’t do that as Orton already did and it was awful, but with the WWE……

I hope that doesn't happen - its bad enough at present with them being all loved up!!! Maybe to keep the public hatred of him going, he will pick on poor hornswoggle! Nobody really, I suppose Matt is their but there is a belief that he’s nowhere near main event status. I don’t expect Batista to feud with Edge for a good while so the only face left is Rey and he’s gone for ages. He may have to go back to Raw. He would probably get a face pop if he attacked the midget as well. :eek:

they'll keep the Vickie-Edge thing going till Mysterio is back.

Mysterio will come out saying how hes been sat at home for X amount of months and has seen Smackdown and this "relationship" and is still convinced that Edge is only in it for himself.

Have Mysterio keep trying to convince Vickie everyweek until she starts to gradually become more face-ish, and listening to him. Then have a PPV match...Mysterio vs Edge w/ Vickie. Rey takes a sick bump to the outside so Vickie goes to check on him, Edge flips and throws her into the ring...Rey tries to help but gets took out by the Edgeheads and held back as Edge spears Vickie in the middle of the ring before the Edgeheads and Edge beat up on Rey for a bit before leaving...then have Rey crawl over to Vickie and check her over.

Therefore Edge gets the boos for going against Mysterio, and then spearing a women who has seemed face-ish the past few weeks.

Splits up this whole angle, and leads to a new one for Edge...where its announced that Edge only proposed and said he "loved" her to solidify his top spot on Smackdown, nothing more...just "business"

nit they need to fix vickies voice aqnd give her some actin lessons before she should be allowed in the wwe......i agree with a previous post sayin shes the poor mans stephanie from the mcmahon-helmsley era)
