Zecco Application Rejected

    Hi all.

    I applied for a Zecco trading account a few weeks ago. I filled off all the relevant forms, but got an email back saying:
    Thank you for your interest in opening an account with Zecco Trading.
    Unfortunately, we are unable to approve your application at this time.

    If you feel that you may have incorrectly entered information that caused our system to reject your application, please feel free to resubmit an application with the corrected information.

    Should you have any further questions regarding this process please use reference number xxxxxxxxx and contact us at CustomerService@zeccotrading.com.

    A little puzzled, I emailed them back asking why had my application been rejected. The response I got was:
    Thank you for contacting Zecco Trading. Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve that information since the system did not retain your information due to the fact that it was rejected.
    We hope this information has been helpful. If you have any additional questions please contact us. We are here to help. We hope you have a great day.

    Has anyone experienced this problem before?

    Yeah, Zecco told me it wasn't available in Ireland, and rejected my application. I read on the net that lots of people were having huge difficulties signing up to them, and had to send in lots of paperwork.

    I just signed up with ETrade. Easy enough.

    i signed up with a Zecco a year ago, although i havent used the account. is this a new rule?
