Have you used Nero 6, 7 or 8?

I never have that issue with Nero, I wonder if it could be a codec issue?

Try using VSOs ConvertXToDVD, a demos available, its usually good at keeping audio in sync

Is the audio out of sync in the avi to start with?

No the audio file on the pc is fine. When I burn it to dvd and watch it, it slowly goes out of sync until it becomes unwatchable.

Will try the program recommended. Cheers.
