    Anyone a member of the Sportsco gym on South Lotts Road?

    Whats it like for free weights/machines etc

    Havent actually used the gym myself, but my parent are members there. They have recently done the place up and it looks great. My little sister uses the pool a lot , and there is steam room , sauna, classes etc ..

    I'm a member and I only use the weights area. I don't go near the pool, sauna, bikes, treadmills etc.

    There's absolutely load of dumbells. You can't ask for anymore.
    There's a EZ Curl bar but no barbells.
    There's 2 Smith machines but no Olympic bench.
    Its got all the regular machines except a calf raise one but I use the leg press one for calf raises or do seated ones with weights on my thighs. I'm picturing the room there's a dips/chin up machine, seated row machine, hams/glute machine, adductor/abductor one, the cable machine for doing French presses, etc, bench, dumbells, another bench, leg extension, leg curls. In the middle there's the back extension, machine for your abs and leg press. Sorry I don't know the names, you get the idea I hope.

    Never gets too busy in there except for odd Monday.
