    Hi folks,

looking for the best way to convert an online form to word so that it could be filled in offline and printed off aswell as the option to fill it in online. The form contains radio buttons and drop down menu's which dont seem to copy over right the the way im doing it at the minute, textareas work fine but I cant switch between the alternate radio buttons or access drop down values. Is there a way to make this possible?

Why not just give them a downloadable html file instead of a word doc?
Let them fill it in offline and print it when they're done.
I just did a little test there and user-entered data in the form fields prints intact. (in IE and FF at least)
Just remove the submit button, what's the difference?

Because my client needs to be able to send them as word documents, its fine for me to give them a downloaded html forms to fill out but they need them as word documents to use after that.

What is this fascination businesses have with Word documents? Just print screen, paste them into word and put some text areas over the necessary places in the word doc..

    :p

The printing off is only one part of it, people using the site can print off a copy of the form and send it in with the fields filled in hand written. My client needs to be able to fill in the forms electronically though also and send them off to someone else in word format. For example i have copied one of the forms to word, the text areas and textfields work fine but the drop down menus and radio buttons dont because the code for them doesnt copy over.
