Gamesnash.ie opinions?

Seem to see the name cropping up quite a lot, but it always seems to be by someone planning to use them, rather than someone who has actually used them...

Are they trustworthy enough to order something like GTAIV from and expect it on release day/day after?

Used them recently. Free delivery which was a bonus and next day delivery even outside of the pale!!! Prices were good too, I was buying for the kids, wouldn't know much about the prices but them were all around €20 for nintendo DS games. Oh yes, I used my laser to pay as well which was another convience

Good point actually. I get fairly annoyed when you get a dispatched email from other sites a couple of days after it has actually dispatched

Gamesnash ,do you expect another large shipment of GTA4 or is it touch and go for the next few weeks ?

Not as large as the first shipment but the tail end of the intial allocations to the Irish market are due to land on Thursday / Friday of this week. We dont have confirmations of when more stock will arrive beyond that - would guess mid May but thats only a guess.

Ordered my GTAIV from them, impressed with the email updates and was in my hands 9.30 on release day. cant really get any better than that. Will be shopping again.

Just wondering though, will you be stocking Limited Editions (Gears 2 will more than likely have one) of games?

And one other quick question. Is this new or pre-owned?

Yes we stock limited editions - we actually did for GTA4 this time round as well.

One quick question for you gamesnash....... i have a potential basket of about 6 games, but one of which is GTA4. What i was wondering was will i be waiting for my order for well into mid-may, or will i receive the rest of the order separate from GTA4.

That's actually a really good question because there is nothing worse than waiting for a whole order to ship just because of one item.

We would split the order in that case - everything but GTA would be shipped within 1 working day with the GTA to follow when in stock. We would not keep you waiting for your entire order

No inside scoop at the moment - we have been told it will be sometime around mid may but nothing has been confirmed yet. GTA4 is proving very hard to get into Ireland at the moment.

How long does it normally take for them to reply to requests?
It's been 5 working days since I sent off an enquiry regarding Mass Effect[PC] and no reply at all...:(

We generally respond within 1 working day and try our best to get back a lot sooner than that. I am posting from home here and do not have access to our email archives so can't say if your mail was received / responded to.

Sorry about any inconvenience caused. I can only assume you are asking about release dates / pre ordering . Mass effect is due for release on June 6th and will be available to pre order some time early next week - we are currently waiting for confirmed pricing from our suppliers for June releases.

Regarding the e-mail, it was sent to(web bot precaution): requests a t gamesnash dot i e. That was on the 05 May and I didn't get a bounce. Of course I'm happy that you answered me on boards.ie though it would be nice to know that I can make direct queries.

Don't like the new layout of the site.

Also some of the script is appearing on the pages ,in the border on the upper part of the page.

New layout is a melter for me.

Same here, kick the guy who set it up.
The layout is all over the place and I have no way of navigating the site at all.

Have you tested this for browsers other than IE?
Its not functional in firefox.

Edit: Taking a look at the source I assume this is a work in progress?
You might want to revert back to the old one until the bugs are worked out, this is only going to cost business.

Morning guys - seems to be an issue with firefox. I have spanked the tech guys and they are working on it at the moment.

Gamesnash seems to be fine for the moment.
