Have been diasgnosed with this (age 30) and looking to see if anyone else has the same prob. It usually affects the elderly so having a hard time finding info for my ago group. Thanks

The condition that you're thinking of is ARMD which does affect older people. There are many different types of macular dystrophies that affect younger people too but they are far less common. Just so you know that you might not be looking up the exact condition.
