I received this email at work from one of my coworker..you know the kind of emails that turned around...anyhow I was wondering if anyone was aware about this story or if you think it's jsut a fake news? (let's hope it's just a story made by someone bored)

This actually happened a few weeks ago just off the M1 . It was early
evening and a young girl stopped to get petrol. She filled her tank and
walked into the store to pay for her petrol. The cashier told her 'Don't
pay
for your petrol yet.....walk around the store for a while and act as if
you're picking up some other things to buy. A man just got into the back
of
your car. I've called the police and they're on their way'.

When the police arrived, they found the man in the back seat of the
girl's
car and asked him what he was doing. He replied, he was joining a gang
and
the initiation to join is to kidnap a woman and bring her back to the
gang
to be raped by every member of the gang. If the woman was still alive by
the
time they finish with her then they let her go. According to the police
that
night, there is a new gang forming here originating from London. The
scary
part of this is because the guy didn't have a weapon on him. The police
could only charge him with trespassing.... He's back on the street and
free
to try again. Please be aware of what's going on around you and for your
family and friends. LADIES you or one of your family and friends could
be
the next victim. Please forward this on to everyone you know. Please do
not
discard this message it is very important that everyone knows what is
happening.

Please be careful when leaving your vehicle and make sure it is ALWAYS
locked to prevent this from happening to you.

That story was even the opening of the movie "Urban Legend" (1998) & was probably doing the rounds for forty years before that...



Do people still believe these things... ???

It was me. I didn't get into the gang because of that damn cashier .

That was me in the back of the car. The story is wrong about me being initiated to a gang. I was just looking for scraps of food and thought there might be some in the back of a random car at a petrol station. Turns out there was.....JACKPOT! She had a ham and cheese sandwich (on brown, no butter) and an actimel in the footwell of the back seat. Looking back, it wasn't worth it, the bread was a bit chewey and the actimel was the boring one that doesnt have any flavour to it.

Wont stop me trying again though. So attendees of Petrol Stations on the M1...please be kind and leave some decent food in your unlocked cars.

All they want for payment is a lift to the next supermarket. On the way they strip off and start kissing each other, one of them will then get into the front and give you oral pleasure and the other one will rob your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen last Thursday, Friday, twice on Saturday and also yesterday so be careful when out shopping.

Well I'm glad it's not a true story anyhow things like this can happen...in the gas stations in Spain at night in the motorway...and that happened to my dad and I while we were traveling to Alicante...we just stopped for a quick walk to the toilet,he didn't bother to lock his door as my little brother(sleeping)and the dog were in the car...thought it was ok...when we came back 5mns later his wallet and some other stuffs were gone...the dog was shaking as it saw the devil(my brother was still sleeping:eek:)!

the true thing in this story is...lock the door!!

this kinda story happened also to a few friends of mine...so that's why i was wondering..you never know what a human is capable of...

same story, but this time the garage was named... the on the run in cabinteely.
I'm surprised no one mentioned the one about the girl stopping up by jonnie foxes, same crap she gets out to see what the noise from the car is finds nothing, when she takes off again a car comes up behind her flashing and beeping etc, she is **** scared , traveling over sallys gap, comes to jonnie foxes and jumps out of her car runs in screaming for help, people come out to help to find the driver of the car holding a guy down who had a rope and knife.. Ah bless, makes me all nostalgic, when my Dad first discovered the internet, he'd send these mails to me almost daily, and then ring me to warn me about the dangers out there in the "big schmoke"...He's copped on now, but every now and then I get a mail about killer squirrels baiting you with their cuteness, or the evil lady giving out samples of sausages in Tesco who puts heroin in them to get you hooked...:rolleyes:

This is identical to a story on this page (4th one down) from EIGHT years ago (except that "near downtown" is replaced with "just off the M1"). In fact, a hybrid of the story first appeared seven years previously, in 1993.

It's pure unsubstantiated urban legend - nothing more.

i actually saw this happening one night.i was comin home from work at about half 11 and when i was walking through tescos car park i saw a woman leave her car and a man quickly get in it.i kept walking and i bumped into a couple of guys, whos started making trouble in my neighborhood.i got in one little fight and my mom got scared she said "your movin in with your aunty and uncle in bel air"...
