That's just the thing with liking old bands, punk bands and people my dad listened to... music's awesome on cd, but I just never thought I'd get to see them live... but... Stiff Little Fingers, May 18th! I can't believe it! Been listening to the Live in Brixton Academy stuff, and wow! I'm getting so excited!

Anyone seen them live since they got back together? I'm so excited, do I expect much new stuff? tonnes of old stuff? balance? energetic performance, or someone who should have kept their boots hanging up ? i've no idea, but i've just spent a sheetlot of money on getting to see them next month, and im just so psyched right now :D

Yea, have seen them anytime they've played in Ireland for the past few years. Still mostly play old songs. Odd new one here and there, which are fairly good too. Definitely worth going to if you haven't seen them before.

Contemplating an 8 hour drive to see them in Auckland myself atm.

Ro: maaan!, ha, my mate has a mate who books bands, and as you may know... south island gets feck all gigs at all, but the punk scene here's not too bad. going to my second punkfest now, in 3 months of being here, and saw UK Subs recently too... awesome night. I can't believe how much it's costing though, when we heard they were probably coming, we figured $20-30, $40 max... can't believe it's costing $70.

kept missing them in dublin, but finally get to see them over here now, so happy! :D

thanks for the link xshayx, will check it out over the next day or so, eehehehehehe. can't wait to see them :D

for some reason i thought twas more the last decade. one of those bands i've heard for years, but only paid proper attention over the last year. become mates with a lot of people now who were into them back in the day, and getting into it more properlyer now.

as a matter of curiosity, if im not infringing on certain rules here, how much did it cost to see them in dublin/irelnad?

Yeah I saw them in the Village a few years ago. Think it was around €20 in.

Just heard on the radio they're playing Dublin in June with Iggy Pop. :o

i knew i was being ripped off seeing them here!

€20?! it's costing me $70 to see them here... admittedly that kinda translates to about €35, but still, it cost me about the same to see muse in both countries. and i didnt quite get the tickets, but incubus would have come to about the same amount as well.

    $70 is just shocking!
