Hi there, I recently bought a new laptop as a risk assesment incase anything went wrong with my PC as i had a major deadline! Now that the deadline is gone I have no need for the laptop and its only a month or so old with little use so I want to sell it on.

Theres not any sensitive material on it that I can think of but im wondering is it a good idea to just hope that there wasnt anything on it and to hope that nobody else ever bothers looking!?
Would it be worth buying a replacement HD for it or should i just use a file shredder over the contents a few times and format it?

Also in general would any of you sell on any hard drive?!
