Pulsing veins

This is probably pretty common (or maybe not) but does anyone else get those awful ugly looking veins pulsing on your temple after some exercise? For me they don't seem to die down until an hour after training and they're quite annoying! Is there anything I can do to tone them down a little so it's not as noticable? Thanks!

Without knowing what state of fitness you are in, here are a few shots in the dark.

- stop clenching your teeth
- get more cardio in so that your body gets used to pushing blood around
- don't lift so heavy

Thanks.

As for my state of fitness, I'm in dire shape at the moment. When I go for a run/cycle I get out of breath quite easily but I never clench my teeth.
