where to go around waterford?

I know the non-photo photography meet is on for this weekend, but I have an urge to escape the city for a few days. Will be heading down to waterford on Saturday morning and am looking for suggestions of places to visit / photograph. Hope to be heading down to Fota on Sunday so really only have the Saturday in the county.…

I know the non-photo photography meet is on for this weekend, but I have an urge to escape the city for a few days.

Will be heading down to waterford on Saturday morning and am looking for suggestions of places to visit / photograph.

Hope to be heading down to Fota on Sunday so really only have the Saturday in the county. Any suggestions? and fingers crossed the weather remains reasonable (cold and dry!)

Mahon Falls. Nice waterfall and optical illusions of stuff rolling/flowing uphill
Its about a 2 mile hike from the parking area to the falls though.

copper coast, boatstrand etc is also worth a visit,
