Flight case or other for Numark D2 and cm200

hi lads. I need as compact and light a flight case (or anything else that would protect and carry) as possible for a NUMARK DIRECTOR D2 (3U, 19") and a NUMARK CM200 (2U I think and also 19"). I know I could get a big flight case but apparently it's very hard to find one that fits those two things exactly without having extra space/size in the case. The reason I don't want any extra space and want the smallest case possible for these two items together is I have a slightly messed up foot (had a torn ligament) that doesn't carry weight well at all and I need to be able to transport my Numarks as easily as possible, along with my usual luggage up and down to limerick (using the train) while I practice using them. I reckon if I get a small enough case I'll be able to prop it up on my wheely luggage. I know i could get a trolley for a bigger flight case but then i'd have two things to wheel and that doesn't work at the moment with my foot. All suggestions/ponderings welcome. Thanks lads!!

Skb do a great range of cases. You going to find it hard to get a 5u rack. They don't tend to come in that way 2/4/6/8 etc.

Plus the little extra space would let air move around the unit. Plus where do you put the HD when your using the d2? Best bet is a 6u case.

How you getting on with the D2?

I believe this one should do the trick...its 6u which should fit the D2 and Cm200 just fine. you'll need the extra space for cables unless you plan on the mixer up top and director below ? ..I'd order a 1U blanking plate too.

to be honest uncle bill haven't had much opportunity to practice on it. It's in limerick now and I'm in dublin. Tried to feed all my digital music through 'Librarian' software so I could see visuals of bpm and energy changes in songs (need to learn how to mix) and was very depressed when the program told me it would take 3 weeks to analyse all my songs fully. bit deflated after that. hopefully i'll figure it all out tho

Yeah Librarian can take a while to do things. I've just downloaded the new version, 1.5.

Its got 4 levels of scanning your music files. Its taken about 2.5hrs to do 500 songs. But thats profiles/bpm etc of every song. Its best to partition up your drive and you can do it all in a few sessions, or use a really fast computer!!
