    Anyone have an idea of a few shops in cork to get started.

    What would be the going price for
    fins
    boots
    mask
    snorkel
    for a start and what is the cost of
    suit
    BCB
    Weight belt
    anything else you need to get going

    Aquaventures in baltimore is a good spot too

    I don't know what it is about Aquaventures but it has a brilliant shop. Well worth a visit. I was down there last year and stopped in - found a load of bits I wanted.
